Middle Season #10

Suddenly, on April 5, millions of magnolias!  It's an amazing display of flowers from bare branches.  All around there's color now --  on the ground -- daffodils, hyacinths, forsythias, Virginia Bluebells (top left), other tiny purple flowers, and in the branches -- pear, cherry, maple.  (The bottom right is a Norwegian maple blossom.  The entire tree is yellow fuzz now.). By the end of this middle season, red buds are beginning to color.  Below, a bald cypress by school... I wish I would have focused better... but millions on tiny fronds -- barely visible -- expressing from the woody stem.  The tree/bush at the SE corner of the house -- seems to have grown more each time I walked down the stairs.  By the end of this middle season, full leaves.
