I don’t know if either of these authors are thinking of writing as therapy - I can read them in mdifferent ways. But it strikes me now that these ideas are similar to a mindfulness precept of being open and welcoming to whatever’s there. The latent or self/hidden things.
And maybe these things are not the daintiest flowers or the emotional world.
