Middle Season #7

On an unseasonably warm Saturday (69 degrees) I see couple of flocks of sandhill cranes headed NW. winter aconite (with closed blossoms) at a house near central and maple in WS... more winter bloomers: witch hazel in LG; milkweed seedpods burnished by a winter outside.

"It was one of those March days
when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold;
when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."
