Spring Equinox on March 20. Cooler temps this weeks (10-20 degrees cooler) suspended the development of tulips and daffodils (not much change from last middle season to this one for the troll picture!). There's a lot of change in trees - reddening branch tips, and, above, the beginning of color in buds. Magnolia buds swelling quickly. The red berries at the bottom left from Morton Arboretum. The flowers on bottom right are really low to the ground.... from house on North side of Maple Avenue in WS. Maybe anemone ranunculoides.
