We are watching the PBS series “The Trouble With Maggie Cole.” The first episode tells the story of a town gossip who gets drunk with a London reporter who turns her gossip into a radio story that wrecks her relationships with 6 people in the village.
The second episode is about how she tries to make up with one of the characters she’s offended. But we find there’s much more to the story than what she knew. It seems now that the chart above is one of the themes of the show: be gentle with others because you don’t know their story. Don’t judge or share gossip for the same reason.
